Overview

The difference between a vision and a hallucination is the number of people who see it!

Every new venture or initiative goes through a series of phases:

  • Exploration - Examining what can or should be done
  • Ideation - Identifying and assessing options to determine the most efficient, effective and/or innovative ways to succeed
  • Evaluation - Looking at the various options qualitatively and quantitatively, and making choices
  • Execution - Determining focus and priorities. Identifying required resources. Creating and implementing action plans

Each of these phases can be enabled by specific methods, tools and techniques which  have amassed over my 20+ years of experience. As a consultant and mentor, my goal is to apply the right tools at the right time.

The purpose of working through each phase is to ensure that the resulting decisions and actions are relevant, meaningful and well planned. By recognizing and focusing on each phase, and applying a rigorous set of success techniques, real progress can be achieved much more quickly and efficiently.

These phases and methods are applicable to a variety of initiatives:

  • Where should we focus our business?
  • What markets do we go after first?
  • How can we add the most customer value?
  • How do we differentiate our business with compelling offerings and unique selling propositions?
  • How do we increase sales and market penetration?
  • What is our revenue and pricing model?
  • How do we attract customers and/or investors?
  • What is our product road map?
  • What is our process for achieving a particular objective, or delivering a service?

I will show you how to avoid the "hallucination" effect that results when people and organizations make decisions or take action without first going through a deliberate and well coordinated effort to: explore and evaluate possibilities, analyze  risks and probabilities, and effectively execute on viable and well coordinated action steps.
